Mr. Farmer has 29 years experience in negotiating leases for many of the Forbes Fortune 500 companies from both the landlord and tenant sides of the table. He has been responsible for the implementation of new and existing retail concepts as well as the development and redevelopment of regional shopping malls and power centers. Management Specialists, Inc., established in 1996, is devoted to providing businesses with professional real estate analytical consulting services including site location, branding, expansion, early lease terminations, and lease renewal negotiation. Mr. Farmer, from 2001 to present has completed 463 transactions in 46 states represents nationally the regional mall concepts of:
                                                                      

·          AT&T Mobility (In line and kiosk) - 3000 SF.

·         Na Hoku Hawaii’s Finest Jeweler Since 1924 (In line and kiosk)- 1500 SF        

·         Pearl Factory Hawaii’s Original Pearl in the Oyster (kiosks). 

·         C2:8 – Christian Men’s and Women’s Ready-to-Wear - 2000 SF.

·         Sprouts Farmer’s Market – 30,000 SF.

·         Travelex Worldwide Money Currency Exchange – (In line and kiosk) - 500 SF.       

Before establishing his own consulting firm, Mr. Farmer worked for Austin & Associates, a national tenant representation firm, where he handled all phases of development for retail stores and factory outlet development. He managed the real estate function of 5 national retail chains and co-supervised the national expansion of 18 different clients’ concept stores.

For 17 years before moving to the tenant representation side of the negotiating table, Mr. Farmer was Vice President and Director of Leasing for the Ford Motor Company’s (Land Division) development of the value-mega mall, The Great Mall of the Bay Area in Milpitas, CA.

Preceding Ford Motor Company, Mr. Farmer was the Vice President of Real Estate for Westfield Corporation’s Western Region where he managed the leasing department of the west coast portfolio of 9 regional malls and 4 strip centers.

Mr. Farmer also managed the leasing departments of the west coast portfolio of May Centers (May Company Department Stores - now Westfield) 7 regional malls and 4 strip centers and Homart Development (Sears Roebuck and Company – now GGP) 5 regional malls and 4 strip centers. He has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers since 1980.

Additionally, Mr. Farmer has a BA in Psychology from the University of Southern California where he was a 4-year letterman and 3-year starting fullback. He participated in 4 Rose Bowls and earned 2 National Championships. Mr. Farmer also has 3 years experience in the NFL as a running back and special team’s player with the Atlanta Falcons (1977-78, 11th round) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1979). In his spare time over the last 6 years Mr. Farmer coaches High School football.

Ryan Watson, Director of Leasing

Mr. Watson has already administered and overseen over One Hundred Million Dollars of leasing transactions in his young career. As an apprentice of CEO, President, and Founder, David W. Farmer Sr, he has had the incredible opportunity to learn first hand how to most efficiently, effectively and ethically find the best deals for his clients.

Mr. Watson initially set out on a path in the fitness and physical therapy industry, and became a Certified Master Trainer carrying Performance Enhancement Specializations and Corrective Excercise Specializations through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Mr. Watson worked with highschool, collegiate, and professional athletes to educate and train them how to avoid and rehab injuries, while improving their skills and attitudes neccesary to accomplish their goals.

 Mr. Watson still works with young athletes in his free time to fulfill his passion of helping youth achieve the education on how to stay healthy and achieve their dreams, and currently is a voluntary coach for a 7th grade select basketball team in the North Seattle area Edmonds-Woodway Highschool Basketball program.

Utilizing his vast experience and people skills earned in the service industry, Mr. Watson is creating valuable relationships everyday in the Real Estate community leading to exponential growth and business development.
